The Steam Autumn Sale has begun, with a nearly-endless supply of deeply discounted games on PC (and Steam Deck!) through October 6.

We’ve narrowed this list down to our favorite games of the last few years, which are on historic (or tied with historic) discounts during the sale. Here are our favorite deals for the Steam Autumn Sale 2025!

First are the excellent management sims from cheeky British studio, Two Point Studios.

Two Point Campus is at its most deeply discounted at 90% off. Campus takes the solid sim design of Two Point Hospital and puts you in charge of your own university, teaching students, managing staff, and planning facilities and events.

If you haven’t already picked up Two Point Museum, it’s one of our favorite games of the year, and currently at 20% off.

If you’ve somehow missed the entire series, the Two Point Triple Pack features all three games for the gob-smacking  price of $33.45 (59% off).

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch

Next is Disney Dreamlight Valley (30% off). The Disney-fied life sim continues to benefit from excellent seasonal updates, bringing in new tasks, villagers, decorations, and quest lines. Plus, the third major expansion was recently announced, adding horse mounts. The other expansions are not currently on sale, but there’s already a ridiculous amount of content in the base game, you’ll have plenty to do before wanting more!

The beleaguered history strategy game Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 still has a dubious ‘Mixed’ user rating on Steam, with many fans divided over the new Eras system — and annoyed at missing features at launch. But credit to Firaxis for sticking with it and releasing regular patches, shoring up weaknesses and adding more features. Patch 1.2.5 just dropped today, further improving map genereation, UI, and diplomacy. It may be worth holding out a big longer, but 30% is still a solid discount for a recent release.

Baldur’s Gate 3 needs no introduction. The Game of the Year winner is a once-in-a-generation RPG with all the best parts of Dungeons & Dragons wrapped up in a gigantic video game. Plus, you can play the entire thing cooperatively with up to four players. A 25% discount may not seem like much, but it’s the deepest discount we’ve seen so far.

If you enjoy playing co-op RPGs with friends, tactical RPG Sunderfolk is 30% off. Sunderfolk syncs with a free companion app on everyone’s smartphones, creating a unique personalized set up for managing your character while sharing the action on the big screen (or PC monitor).

Sunderfolk

One of our all-time favorite cooperative games may just be capable of ending friendships and marriages — it’s Overcooked 2! Divvy up tasks and work together in a chaotic kitchen to fulfill as many orders as possible. Tons of kitchen levels and challenges await. While we prefer it for console for easier split-screen couch co-op, the base game is 75% off on Steam, while each of the DLC packs, which add richly themed kitchen levels, are 50% off each.

Co-op puzzle-platformer Split Fiction is also technically on a historically low sale of 10%, but this is Hazelight Studios we’re talking. They literally don’t miss when it comes to co-op-only adventures, and Split Fiction is easily their best game yet.

Split Fiction

For fans of stealth-strategy, it doesn’t get much better than developer Mimimi. Their first two excellent stealth games, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, and Desperadoes 3, are currently on sale with huge 90% discounts. Both games offer interesting scenarios with multiple paths and objectives, and a team with varying abilities. Plus, they feature surprisingly great writing, with big stories and memorable characters. Their most recent venture, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is also on sale for 75% off, featuring a supernatural pirate theme.

We just recently reviewed The King is Watching, a Steam Deck-friendly roguelike strategy game of managing resources, building armies, and defending your tiny kingdom. Absolute steal at 20% off.

Drill Core is another fabulous roguelike strategy game on sale (30% off). During the day, players mine deeper and deeper into alien planets harvesting precious resources. At night, they must defend their miners and platform from waves of flying creatures. One part Dig Dug, one part Galaga, with a nice sprinkling of corporate satire.

The Steam Autumn Sale is also a great time to pick up some small yet mighty indie games, such as music sim Spirit City: Lofi Sessions (40% off), home-decorating puzzle game Unpacking (50% off), and multi-lane card battler Monster Train (90% off).

The Steam Autumn Sale ends October 6.
