During the Nintendo Direct: February 2021 stream, Square Enix announced the release dates of two classic PSOne-era JRPGs getting the remaster treatment: Legend of Mana and SaGa Frontier.

The Legend of Mana remaster is launching June 24 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Switch ($29.99). Throughout the adventure of finding the mystical Mana Tree you’ll acquire artifacts that can be placed on the world map, bringing the world to life by creating towns and dungeons. It’s the fourth game in the Mana series, with the previous Mana games recently ported or remade to modern consoles over the last few years.

The remaster features enhanced visuals, a rearranged soundtrack, and a new mini-game. If you pre-order Legend of Mana you will receive ten avatars and a PlayStation theme or PC desktop wallpaper.

Following the recent release of the earliest SaGa games with Collection of SaGa: Final Fantasy Legend comes SaGa Frontier Remastered, based on the 1998 PlayStation RPG, and the seventh total game in the series.

SaGa Frontier Remastered is coming to PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Switch, and iOS and Android mobile devices on April 15 ($24.99). The RPG features the Free-Form Scenario system, featuring multiple main protagonists who adventure throughout a non-linear sci-fi universe. The remaster adds an eighth playable character who was cut from the original release, along with upgraded graphics.

Both Legend of Mana and SaGa Frontier Remastered are rated T for Teen.
