The demo for co-op 3D platformer Balan Wonderworld is available to download now on PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and Steam PC, including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. By playing the demo, players can earn a unique bonus costume, depending on the platform they play on.

Square Enix also unveiled a new trailer, True Happiness is an Adventure (above), which shows off more costumed gameplay and fanciful levels.

The bonus costume is the Launcher, which looks like a cross between a robot and a tank. The Launcher changes name, color, and projectiles depending on the platform you play the demo on. For example, the Steam Launcher is blue and fires valve-shaped bullets, while the PlayStation-specific Blue Launcher is white (what!), and fires O and X symbols, like the buttons on the controller. The costumes will be available when you purchase the full game on the same platform.

The demo includes five levels in three of Wonderworld’s magical worlds. Players can play as both Leo and Emma in two player drop-in co-op, simply by plugging in a second controller. Collect costumes to unleash powerful abilities to help navigate each world and defeat enemies, as you rescue those in need and save them from grief.

Balan Wonderworld will launch on March 26 on PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and PC. It’s rated E10+.
