Many big blockbusters from the last few years are getting Switch ports, but not all of them are getting their own Switch bundles. November 2 sees the release of Diablo 3 on Switch, as well as the Diablo III: Eternal Collection Switch bundle. The bundle will be available exclusively at GameStop.
The Diablo III: Eternal Collection Switch bundle includes a download code for the game as well as Diablo-themed Switch, dock, and carrying case. Diablo III: Eternal Collection on Switch includes Diablo 3 as well as the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansion packs for a total of seven character classes, five acts, and seasonal content.
Unique to the Switch version are several pieces of Zelda-related content: a Cucco pet, Triforce portrait, and a transmogrification armor set to don Gannondorf’s black steel armor.
Diablo 3 originally launched on PC in 2012, making the jump to current gen consoles in 2014. Despite a history of PC-only gameplay, the console version was very well received. The Reaper of Souls expansion also helped redefine the gameplay structure as Blizzard added the excellent Adventure Mode and seasonal content to increase replayability over the years.
Diablo 3 remains one of the go-to definitive cooperative games on the market, with both local and online multiplayer. Local players can join forces on a shared-screen with a single Switch, or with multiple Switch handhelds. Up to four people can battle the evil forces in Sanctuary together.
The Diablo III: Eternal Collection will launch on Nov. 2 along with the Switch bundle. It’s rated M for Mature for Blood and Gore, Partial Nudity, and Violence.

At this point Warner Bros. has their LEGO superhero DLC schedule figured it out – simply tie it into upcoming movies. It worked with LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, and they’re banking on it for the upcoming LEGO DC Super-Villains, launching on October 16 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
The Season Pass includes six Level Packs and four Character Packs. Both Aquaman and Shazam are getting two separate level packs, modeled after their respective upcoming solo films (Aquaman in Dec., Shazam April 2019). The other two level packs are inspired from animated series Batman: The Animated Series and Young Justice.
The Character Packs include all the DC heroes and villains from various WB shows like Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow, as well as additional characters from DC films and the comic Justice League Dark.
The Season Pass is included in the Deluxe Edition of DC Super-Villains ($74.99). It provides immediate access to the first Character Pack, the Super-Villains TV Series Character Pack. The physical version also includes a Lex Luthor Superman LEGO minifigure. The digital version instead adds the Justice League Dark Character Pack. The Season Pass will also be available as a separate purchase for $14.99.
In LEGO DC Super-Villains players will create their own unique super villain with their own custom powers and costume. They’ll join forces with iconic DC super-villains for an original story designed exclusively for the game.
The LEGO games remain at the forefront of family-friendly gaming, with a wealth of content, easy controls, humorous writing, and local cooperative multiplayer.
LEGO DC Super-Villains launches October 16 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. It has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
