News
- Sony had a big press conference (called PlayStation Meeting) and talked about the new versions of PlayStation, a big firmware update on PlayStation, and some pretty great video games, too, including Mass Effect Andromeda.
- Apple had a big press conference too, and Miyamoto attended to talk about the new Mario mobile game, Super Mario Run. They also announced Pokémon Go on the Apple Watch.
- Nicole and Stephen recommend the mobile game Buddy and Me.
- Pokémon Go has caused people to walk, collectively, to Neptune (4.6 billion kilometers).
- Nicole saw some terrific new games at PAX West.
- Nicole also saw Amy Hennig’s keynote at PAX West, all about writing game narrative.
- Stephen recommends Episode 38 of Engage: A Family Gaming Podcast if you’re considering taking kids to a convention.
- There were some more Pokémon Sun and Moon announcements.

- Linda played World of Warcraft: Legion with her son and her nephew.
- Nicole played Hearthstone and Puzzle and Dragons. She also played all those games at PAX West!
- Stephen has been playing World of Warcraft and Hearthstone and Earthlock: Festival of Magic, an old-school RPG that is free on Xbox Gold right now. He recommends Axiom Verge on the Nintendo Wii U.
