We have the list of finalists for the 16th annual Game Developers Choice Awards! Winners will be announced during a ceremony on March 16 in San Francisco. The event will be hosted by Robin Hunicke, co-founder of indie game studio Funomena, and it will happen as part of the Game Developer’s Conference (GDC). Immediately preceding the conference will be the Independent Games Festival Awards, whose finalists were announced last week.

Both ceremonies will be livestreamed via Twitch.

Leading the awards are Metal Gear Solid V and The Witcher 3. Both games are nominated in four categories each. Following with nominations in three categories each are Star Wars Battlefront, Ori and the Blind Forest, Bloodborne, Fallout 4, Her Story, Undertale, and Splatoon.

Any game that was released publicly during the 2015 calendar year is eligible for nomination, regardless of platform.
