Pac-Man 256

Pac-Man 256 doesn't have a story in the usual sense, but it does have a villain that players are trying to elude. Inspired by an actual glitch from level 256 in the original version of the game, the antagonist glitch gradually dissolves the map from the bottom up, and players must outrun the disintegration or risk being engulfed by it. Besides this change and the addition of some new power-ups, the gameplay of Pac-Man 256 will be familiar to anyone who has played a Pac-Man game in the last 35 years. The goal is still to direct Pac-Man through the maze-like levels, collecting dots and avoiding ghosts, but this time around there's just an extra level danger to challenge players even further.

Pac-Man 256 utilizes simple touchscreen controls that almost anyone can easily use, though some skill is definitely involved in achieving high scores without the excessive use of continues.
