Story & Themes
Rocket League's premise is very simple: each player controls a supped-up car, and the objective of the game is to knock around a giant ball in an equally enormous arena until it lands in the goal area. Basically, Rocket League is a soccer game with cars for players and a wacky physics system that keeps things interesting and exciting. Players can customize their cars, play online or locally with friends, or challenge the computer in exhibition mode matches.
The game's easy to learn and control, though it takes a bit more time and involvement to truly master.
Violence The cars can bump and scrape against each other, but no one is actually hurt by this.
Rocket League can be played online with others but also supports local co-op for those wishing to remain offline.
- Do you prefer playing with others or the computer? Why?
- Do you like the game's physics? Do you still feel like skill and strategy are involved in winning matches, or does everything seem too chaotic and unpredictable for that?
