Disney Dreamlight Valley’s newest content update, A Hero’s Journey, is now available, adding a new Realm from Disney’s Hercules, alongside a new Star Path inspired by Greek Mythology.
To unlock the Hercules Realm, you’ll first need access to the Disney Dreamlight Castle (which is very early in the game).
The Hercules Realm has been infected with Dark Thorns and a mysterious fog. But to help Herc, you’ll need to first train with legendary hero trainer, Philoctetes.
By completing the new story Realm, players will unlock both Hercules and Phil to join their Valley.
I know, I’m upset we’re not getting Megara, too. Hopefully in a future update!
The new Godly Glamor Star Path is clearly inspired by the film, and features the Mythical Cloud Glider, Pink Baby Pegasus companion, the Divine Glow Dream Style, and the Olympian Cloud Mansion House.
The Premium Shop also features new mythic styles and items, including the Grecian Villa House, and a puppy Cerberus companion. Players can also acquire Rajah, Jasmine’s tiger companion from Disney’s Aladdin, via the Cozy Companion Rajah Bundle, which also includes new interactions between Aladdin and Jasmine.
The new update also adds helpful Decoration Presets as a way to easily save and move groups of items. Olaf’s Grand Exhibition also expands to include two new areas: the Forst of Valor, and Glade of Trust. Players now have unlimited skips when voting for DreamSnaps photos, and players can choose how to place and pose Villagers in Photo mode.
Surprsingly, the level cap is also rising from 40 to 50. The additional levels include reward new fashion and furniture items.
Finally, there are two seasonal events arriving this summer.
Dreamlight Parks Fest returns on June 10, where players collect buttons scattered around the Valley to earn rewards. It’s available through June 30.
The Pirate Pursuit Event is a new event arriving July 15. It’s a photographic event with daily quests of finding and capturing motifs in photos to unlock rewards, including exclusive photo frames.
Dreamlight Valley has also added two new items that celebrate this year’s Pride month. Enter the code DDVPRIDE2026 via Settings -> Help menu to unlock the Round Rainbow Garden and Butterfly Tiara.
