HoYoverse gacha game Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 may be inspired by K-pop Demon Hunters and HUNTR/X with the arrival of its new girl group music stars, Angels of Delusion. Version 2.6, “Encore for an Old Dream,” launches on February 6 and adds two new Agents, along with new rhythm-based events, and a new game mode.
Although the Angels of Delusion girl group features three members, only two are arriving with the new update.
Sunna is a Physical Support agent who wields a gigantic hammer, and uses her companion Bubblegum to mark enemies. Aria is an Ether Anomaly agent with the unique ability to swap between a robotic form, and deals extra damage to foes afflicted with anomalies.
Both Agents are S-rank (naturally) and arriving in separate Banners, starting with Sunna. The rerurn banner will feature S-rank agents Yixuan and Yuzuha.
The new storyline features the magical girl group. The Phaethon siblings return to Sixth Street and New Eridu to investigate a new creature as the city prepares for the Gilded Carrot Day festival, complete with the first live musical performance by pop star group, the Angels of Delusion.
During the new events, players will get to go backstage with the pop stars to manage their schedules and social media channels, with rhythm-based gameplay.
The new game mode is Operation Matrix in Hollow Zero. Operation Matrix features rotating stages with different mechanics, featuring three Primary agents, one Auxiliary agent, and a Bangboo.
By logging in and completing daily activities, players can earn up to 3,300 Polychromes.
Zenless Zone Zero is free-to-play on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Sereis X/S, and iOS and Android mobile devices, and rated T for Teen.
