As announced earlier this year, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to PlayStation 5 as Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on June 10. Intergrade will feature graphical and gameplay improvements. Square Enix recently revealed the official title of the upcoming PS5-exlusive expansion as Episode INTERmission, and revealed the English voice cast behind the new characters.

Episode INTERmission stars Yuffie Kisaragi, a central character and party member from the original Final Fantasy 7 RPG. In the DLC, Yuffie is tasked with stealing a powerful materia from the evil Shinra Corporation for her nation of Wutai.

As a trained ninja, Yuffie can hurl a massive throwing star at enemies, and charge her long-rate ninjutsu with different elemental attributes. Her Banishment ability deals more damage if she spent more ATB during a previous turn, while her Windstorm attack blasts enemies upwards with a gust of wind.

The DLC will add several new fully voiced characters to the side story, including Yuffie’s partner Sonon, other members of Avalanche, and Weiss, the evil ruler of Shrina’s underground research center.

The English voice cast is below:

  • Yuffie Kisaragi, voiced by Suzie Yeung
  • Sonon Kusakabe, voiced by Aleks Le
  • Weiss, voiced by Daman Mills
  • Zhijie, voiced by Griffin Puatu
  • Nayo, voiced by Ashley Boettcher
  • Billy Bob, voiced by David Goldstein
  • Polk, voiced by Daniel Amerman

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is launching exclusively on PlayStation 5 as an enhanced version, with additional graphical and gameplay improvements. Players who own FF7R on PS4 can download a free PS5 enhancement remake at no cost.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Episode INTERmission is not included, and can be purchased separately on PlayStation 5 for $19.99, starting on June 10. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is rated T for Teen.
