Few game companies can make headlines by releasing differently colored consoles, but here we are. Nintendo has announced a blue Nintendo Switch Lite will release on May 21, for the standard Lite price of $199.99.

The blue Lite will be the fifth color option released so far, joining the pink, yellow, gray and turquoise options. The Lite is a slightly smaller, handheld-only version of the Switch console (MSRP $299.99) that launched in 2019, and remains our number one gaming recommendation for kids. The Lite is compatible with all Switch games.

The blue Lite is launching alongside the adventure game Miitopia, which also releases on May 21. Miitopia is a remaster of the 3DS game of the same name, which takes players’ custom Mii avatars on a series of RPG and life-sim adventures.

Launching later this month on April 30 is New Pokémon Snap, a long-awaited follow-up to the Nintendo 64 game. In New Pokémon Snap, trainers trade their pokéballs for cameras as they take in-game photos of wild Pokémon across a diverse range of landscapes, discovering lost Pokémon and earning points for high-quality shots.

The blue Switch Lite will be available starting May 21.
