From Swedish developers PocApp Studios AB, makers of Castle Cats, comes Dungeon Dogs, another cute mobile idle RPG. It’s available to pre-register now on iOS and Android mobile devices, and releasing on August 19 as free-to-play.

The world of Dungeon Dogs takes place in the same Castle Cats universe, starring new dog characters like Lyra, Ken and Poppy in the kingdom of Lupinia. The evil cat king rules over the dogs and treats them as second-class citizens. Sounds a lot like the cat-dog dynamic in my house.

Like Castle Cats, Dungeon Dogs lets you collect cute canine heroes, build camps, craft supplies, and battle enemies. As an idle RPG, you can set your heroes to battle enemy forces, or control them directly in real time.

Over 50 dog heroes will be available to collect at launch, each with their own unlockable skills, abilities, and outfits. Doggie heroes can engage in over 85 quests, with more being added through seasonal events.

Castle Cats is a hugely popular mobile idle RPG, with over five million downloads, and currently features over 200 different feline heroes. Castle Cats has also raised over $20,000 for animal charities.

Dungeon Dogs is launching on the Google Play Store and App Store on August 19. It’s rated E10+.
