Desperados 3 is out now on PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It’s developed by Mimimi Games, makers of the excellent 2016 stealth tactics game Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shougn.

Like Shadow Tactics, Desperados is a stealth tactics game. Players control one or more characters trying to complete objectives while avoiding (or assassinating) enemies in isometric levels.

Desperados 3 is the fourth game in the series (including 2007 spin-off Helldorado). It’s also a prequel to the original 2001 game, so you don’t need to worry about missing the story if this is your first entry.

The game is set in the Wild West of the 1870s and stars series protagonist John Cooper, along with a colorful cast of party members, each with their own unique set of skills.

A free demo is available on PC (Steam, GOG), and Xbox One, with a PS4 demo to launch. The demo features a sample level from the campaign. Desperados 3 will also feature a season pass that will include new post-launch DLC missions, as well as two free content updates releasing later this summer.

Desperados 3 is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It’s rated M for Mature.
