Frontier Developments announced that 2015 park sim Planet Coaster is launching on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X this Holiday Season.

Planet Coaster: Console Edition was originally announced last year with a tentative release date for this summer. This news is a delay, but also confirmation that Planet Coaster will be arriving on the next generation of consoles at the same time.

The Console Edition features all the strategy and gameplay as the PC version, including building custom coasters, placing rides, designing parks, and managing the business.

The development team wrote the following a statement about the delay:

Over the past year or so, the team have dedicated themselves to bringing the full Planet Coaster experience to consoles; we have made some amazing strides with technology, and the game is looking and playing incredibly well. This is our first title coming to the next generation of consoles, and we’re honored to be a part of that exciting new development in the gaming industry.

Planet Coaster is launching this Holiday Season on PS4, PS5, XBO, and XBX. It’s also available on PC (Steam). It’s rated E for Everyone.
