Target’s Black Friday compendium is 36 pages long. I don’t want you to have to read all that. Heck, I didn’t want to read all that. But I did.

Note: Although Walmart and Amazon are both starting their sales early, these Target deals are good from November 26-28. Yep, you’ll have to do this the old-fashioned way.

Great Deals on Consoles:

All of Target’s console deals are honestly great. If you’ve been waiting to pick up an Xbox One or PlayStation 4, Black Friday is the obvious choice. This Wii U bundle might be our favorite though. Splatoon is an amazing game, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U continues to be a staple at parties. Since Target is also doing discounts on controllers for all the consoles, we recommend picking up an extra controller (most consoles come with only one) to make playing co-op or multiplayer a possibility right away.

If you have teenagers, the PS4 with The Nathan Drake Collection is a good choice. I love the PS4, and The Nathan Drake Collection is a T-rated Indiana Jones-style adventure romp.

500 GB Xbox One with Gears of War, $60 Target Gift Card – $299.99

500GB PlayStation 4 with The Nathan Drake Collection – $299.99

Wii U with Splatoon and Super Smash Bros. – $249.99

New Nintendo 3DS XL – $179.99

Controllers and headsets are marked down to $44.99. This includes Xbox One controllers, PlayStation 4 controllers, and the Wii U Pro controller. So far this doesn’t include the new Xbox One Elite controller.

Discounted Games:

If you have a Nintendo 3DS… get Animal Crossing: New Leaf, or Mario Kart 7 for $15. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire are also available for $25.

If you like sports… get MLB15: The Show for $20. Try FIFA 16, NBA2K16, or Madden 16 for $35.

If you want to dance… Just Dance 2016 will be discounted to $25.

If you like to build and imagine… The Sims 4 is available for $25.

$49.99 – $59.99 With $15 Target Gift Card Included: Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Halo 5: Guardians, Splatoon, Super Mario Maker, Forza 6, Super Smash Bros for Wii U, and Rory McIlRoy PGA Tour. This deal applies only to these games.

Huge Deals on Toys to Life:

If you’ve been waiting to pick up Skylanders SuperChargers or Disney Infinity 3.0, this is really the time. Believe me. They’re each down to $34.99 from $74.99 and $64.99 respectively. All these games are great for families and usually cost way, way more because they come with toys or other physical components.

Guitar Hero Live – $59.00

Rock Band 4 – $199.00

Skylanders SuperChargers Starter Pack – $34.99

Disney Infinity 3.0 Starter Pack – $34.99

LEGO Dimensions – $79.99

Disney Infinity 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 Figures – $11.00

Skylanders SuperChargers figures and vehicles – $11.00

Tablet Deals:

You’ll get a free Target Gift Card with purchase of an iPad Mini or iPad Air (or Apple Watch). As an iPhone and iPad owner, I have to say that I love playing App Store games on the bigger screen of my iPad. If you want a tablet, you’d do well to get an iPad.

Good luck out there, holiday shopper.
