Indie studio Phoenix Labs have released their second-ever game, Fae Farm, on PC (Steam, EGS, $39.99) and Switch ($59.99).
Unlike the studio’s free-to-play, Monster Hunter-like debut game, Dauntless, Fae Farm is a full-priced game inspired by the increasingly popular farm and life sim genre, such as Animal Crossing.
Fae Farm is a “cozy” farm sim, meaning you probably won’t find any monsters to battle or dungeons to crawl through.
In the fairy tale world you’ll grow crops, raise farm animals, befriend townsfolk, and craft and design items for your home, and clothing for your custom avatar.
Fae Farm can be played solo, or with up to four players in online multiplayer. The game supports cross-platform play, and Switch players can enjoy local multiplayer.

PC players can grab the standard edition for $29.99, or purchase the Deluxe Edition, which includes two planned post-launch DLC packs, as well as the digital soundtrack. The Switch version is only available in the Deluxe Edition (though it’s not labeled as such, but it does include the forthcoming DLC packs).
The planned DLC will add new areas, characters, and stories, and release in December 2023 and June 2024.
