Season 2 of Disney Speedstorm begins June 13, and ushers in another Pixar theme with Toy Story.
The new season will add four new racers from the Toy Story universe: Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, and Bo Peep. A new racing environment based on Andy’s room will also be available. Expect lots of new cosmetic options, and a season pass to unlock the new content.
Season 2 also adds more racers from the Mickey and Friends universe, specifically Steamboat Mickey and Steamboat Pete. Both characters appear as their original black and white versions from the original Disney animated film, Steamboat Willie.
There are still an incredible amount of universes and characters that Speedstorm could add. I’m very curious to see if we’ll ever get the sentient cars from the Cars world! That might be too weird.
It related free-to-play Disney game news, Disney Dreamlight Valley released a road map detailing new content throughout the year.
This summer Dreamlight Valley will add new main story content with the Wonder of Pixar Star Path, themed with the Disney 100th Anniversary Celebration. Future updates will add another seasonal star path, Disney Princess Belle, and sort-of Disney Princess Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck-It-Ralph.
Both games are currently available through paid early access on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox.
