What We Played

A Letter!

Listener Swedish Matilda is looking for couch co-op recommendations:

“So, my boyfriend and I bought a Wii U during the holidays. We have been playing Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros with friends and it’s super fun, but now I’m looking for co-op games just the two of us can play. I was kind of devastated when I realized that Splatoon hade no “real” local multiplayer. We already got Super Mario World 3D and it’s great (the cat suits are adorable!). Do you have any other suggestions? We play Helldivers on the PS4, so PS4 suggestions are also welcome. ”

Matilda, thanks for your question! Here are some recommendations:

Linda learned to play video games as a way to connect with her teenaged kids, and then she learned to love video games for their own sake. At Pixelkin she wrangles the business & management side of things, writes posts as often as she can, reaches out on the social media, and does the occasional panel or talk. She lives in Seattle, where she writes, studies, plays video games, spends time with her family, consumes vast quantities of science fiction, and looks after her small cockapoo. She loves to hear from people out there. You can read more about her at her website, Linda Breneman.com or her family foundation's website, ludusproject.org.
