Indie team Sagestone Games has announced their debut farm and craft sim, Delverium, will launch in Steam Early Access on September 22.

Delverium checks a lot of popular boxes: multiplayer, open world, farm sim, survival, crafting, and fantasy. Up to eight players create their own homes and settlements while gathering resources, farming crops, recruiting NPCs, venturing into dungeons, and battling big boss monsters.

It very much looks like Terraria’s crafting, exploration, and combat married with Stardew Valley’s perspective, farming, and art style. Even in Early Access, Delverium supports up to four player local co-op!

delverium early access“Delverium began as a passion project for my family and me to play together due to our shared love of co-op gaming,” said, Scott Lowther, lead developer. “With the help of a supportive community, Delverium has continued to grow into something special and we are excited to share our Early Access release date. We sincerely hope players appreciate the care and love that have gone into development and help us continue to shape Delverium’s future.”

According to the Steam page, Delverium will remain in Early Access for up to two years. A free demo is available, and features the starting biome, and about an hour or two of gameplay.
