Everyone’s favorite TV family just got better as popular children’s gaming app, Bluey: Let’s Play, gets its biggest update ever. The free update adds a new Dress Up Mode as the app celebrates 75 million downloads on Amazon, Android, and iOS.
With Dress Up Mode, players can decorate and accessorize different characters from the Bluey world, including hats and outfits, with just a swipe of the finger. By saving these custom looks, characters will then wear their unique outfits throughout the game.
The update also adds two more interactive activities. Players can give Dad a makeover by playing Hairdresser, using shampoo, curlers, blow-dryers, and, uh, eggbeaters for styling. Dad is a good sport!
There’s also a new BBQ activity. In the backyard grill, players combine meats and veggies on the grill. Mix ingredients and unlock recipes to feed characters, and watch their reactions.
“Hitting 75 million downloads is a spectacular milestone for us, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible collaboration of our partners at BBC Studios and Ludo Studio,” said Michael Elman, Co-CEO,Budge Studios. “To thank our amazing community, we wanted to deliver our biggest update yet. The new Dress Up mode truly unlocks boundless imagination, allowing kids to bring their own personal touch to Bluey’s world and change the way they tell stories in the game.”
In Bluey: Let’s Play, players interact with the Heeler family in a virtual toy set that offers the full house for playtime, and many references from the popular children’s animated show. Designed for ages 2-9, the mobile app is free-to-download on Amazon, Android, and iOS mobile devices, with in-app subscription to unlock the full experience. It’s rated E for Everyone.
