Indie studio Magic Pockets has released Clean Up Earth, an environmentally-focused co-op game, on PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S ($29.99). It’s also coming to Switch 2 at a later date.
Similar to PowerWash Simulator, Clean Up Earth is a first-person “shooter,” where your weapon is a cleaning device. In this case, a high-powered vacuum called the Terra Cleaner that can clean up garbage and waste for recycling.
By recycling vacuumed trash in the lab, players can restore structures to reach new areas, unlock new upgrades, and venture to different trash-filled regions.
Clean Up Earth also emphasizes cooperative multiplayer. And not just a few players either, but dozens! Up to eight players can clean their way through the normal 20-map campaign together, or jump into one of three large multiplayer maps that can host up to 25 players (or more) on a single mission.
Unsurprisingly, the eco-concious game also features a real-world connection through an integrated ecological fund. By simply playing the game, micro-donations are made to nonprofit, non-government organizations, such as World Cleanup Day, Plastic Pickup, and Wings of the Ocean. This unique funding method was first tested during Jingle Jam 2025, and Steam Next Fest 2026.
“Clean Up Earth is an invitation to slow down, whether playing solo or with friends, to explore beautiful environments, restore them step by step, and experience the simple joy of watching nature come back to life,” said Eric Zmiro, founder of Magic Pockets. “We’re incredibly excited to finally share this journey with players, and truly grateful to our community for their support every step of the way.”
Clean Up Earth is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and XBox Series X/S. It’s rated E for Everyone.
