Gameloft is rolling out the reveals for the next big seasonal update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, titled Whispers of the Wind. Arriving April 8, just in time for Spring, Whispers of the Wind will add Disney’s Pocahontas as a full Villager, a new Star Path, and some quality of life improvements.
We’ve known about Pocahontas for a few months now, since Gameloft first teased the 2026 road map. While her inclusion is welcome, if a bit surprising given her real-world historical context, it doesn’t look like she’s getting her own Realm.
Instead, players will follow a quest throughout their Valley, leading to a new island and the lost Princess. Pocahontas’ quests’ also leads to adding her racoon friend Miko as an official Companion.
Percy the dog will also be available as a Premium Shop Companion.
Pocahontas comes with her own house, and her Friendship Quest rewards include a unique clothing set.
Interestingly, the Pocahontas video reveal teases a future newcomer to the Valley, including another official Realm added to the Dream Castle. They’re “a mystifying figure lurking in the Valley shadows.” Are we actually getting a villain Realm for the first time?
We’ll have to wait a while longer, as more clues to this character will drop with each new seasonal update.
The update also adds Olaf’s Grand Exhibition. The large building showcases collected items in each of the main biomes of the Valley — a staple in most life sims that has been curiously missing from Disney Dreamlight Valley. The museum will include different rooms for each biome, with each room featuring a main diorama, as well as an aquarium, and companion house for all the fish and critters.
Only two rooms of the Grand Exhibition will open up with this update: Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach, with more to follow in future updates.
Whispers of the Wind will bring in the Elements of Nature Star Path. The new Star Path includes both plant and fire-based rewards, including a new Flower Lotus house, and a leafy crown Dreamstyle for Nala.
For the first time, players can earn older Star Path rewards by completing routine duties. This is a huge win for newer players who missed previous Star Paths.
The update also adds a new Spring-themed Floating Festival Island, where players can complete puzzles each week to unlock exclusive rewards. The Spring Floating Island will be available from April 29 to May 19.
Other additions include a search bar and filters to the crafting menu – nice!
The Whispers of the Wind update arrives April 8.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PC and Mac, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox, and rated E for Everyone.
