Gameloft has released the next big expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley, Wishblossom Ranch, on PC, Mac, PlayStation, Switch, and Apple Arcade. Wishblossom Ranch adds an entirely new region with multiple biomes, plus new Disney characters, and horseback riding.

Unlike previous expansions, A Rift in Time, and Storybook Vale, Wishblossom Ranch is launching as feature complete, with all quests, characters, and areas available at release.

Wishblossom Ranch is a rustic, rural horse stable located in the mountains. But thanks to the machinations of Cruella De Vil, the area has fallen to a phenomenon known as the Decay.

When the player arrives, they’ll need to restore Wishblossom Ranch to its former glory.

Thankfully, you don’t have to go at it alone. The expansion adds OG Disney princess Snow White, who helps introduce the party to the plight of the Ranch. Along the way, you’ll also befriend Tinker Bell, Tigger, and even Cruella herself.

But that’s not all! Wishblossom Ranch is all about the horses. In restoring the ranch, players will be able to tame and befriend their own custom horses. Generic horses can be fully customized in appearance and accessories. Just like other Companions, players can increase their Friendship levels with each horse, and pet, brush, and feed them daily.

Horses take things a step further: you can ride them with three different speeds, and perform tool-based tasks while still mounted, such as mining, gardening, and watering. And yes, you can take your horses back to your main Valley!

Three iconic Disney character horses will also come to the player’s aid throughout the campaign: Maximus (Tangled), Khan (Mulan), and Pegasus (Hercules). Each of the Disney horses has a special ability that players need to get past various obstacles in the new expansion.

Players who purchase Wishblossom Ranch before December 3 will unlock the Springtime Festival Outfit and Tack for their avatar and their horse.

Wishblossom Ranch can be purchased separately, or as part of the Wishblossom Ranch edition, which includes the base game. A Deluxe Edition includes an additional 10,000 moonstones (for use in the Premium Shop), plus an outfit, house style, and an exclusive mount, Sven from Frozen.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Apple Arcade. It’s rated E for Everyone.
