PocketPair announced Palworld: Palfarm, a farm sim spin-off of the uber-popular Pokémon-like creature collecting action game, Palworld. Release date or platforms have not yet been confirmed, but a Steam store page is available, so it’s definitely coming to PC!
Palfarm is set on an island teeming with helpful (and not-so helpful) Pals. With their unique abilities, players will transform the land into a thriving farm by sowing, planting, harvesting, chopping, and fishing. Players can also give gifts and engage their Pals in conversation to increase their relationships.
The island includes a marketplace where players can buy and sell crops and goods.
Don’t expect a cozy farming experience however. This is still a Palworld game, with a dark sense of violent humor lurking beneath the cheery Pals. Pals can raid your farms, and be hunted underground. Combat is a main feature, though it’s unclear if it will be similar to Palworld.
What is similar is the multiplayer support, with Palfarm supporting multiple co-op players.
Though Palworld’s player base has dropped since its incredible Early Access launch over a year ago, it’s still among the Top 50 Most Player Games on Steam. While still in Early Access, the developers have added several large updates, including a major collaboration with Terraria last Summer. The next update will add another indie collaboration, with hyper-violent first-person shooter, Ultrakill.
Palfarm doesn’t yet have a release date, but Palworld is scheduled to exit early access with a 1.0 release in 2026. Pocketpair posted the following message about the release date:
