Gacha action-RPG Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 releases this week on June 6, adding Season 2 and lots of rewards, including choice of a free S-Rank Agent.
Season 2 begins a new chapter in New Eridu, adding the Waifei Peninsula region. The city of Failume Heights features pawnshops, tea houses, and other merchants. Players can upgrade their own temple by completing missions and collecting resources from the surrounding Lemnian Hollow.
A new update also means tantalizing new Agents. Season 2 adds Grandmaster Yixuan. She’s an S-Rank Agent with all new Attribute, Auric Link, and a new class Specialty, Rupture. Yixuan ignores enemy defenses, and adds her Max HP stat to her attack. She also wields two Ultimates.
Yixuan is available starting June 6, along with new A-Rank Agent Pan Yinhu. Pan Yinhu is a Physical Defense Thiren character — lookin’ like the Panderen from World of Warcraft!
After the Yixuan and Pan banner ends on June 25, Proxies can pull for Ju Fufu, a new S-Rank Fire Stun Agent. Ju Fufu is a tiger-like Thiren who builds energy to deal physical and fire damage, and boosts her squad’s crit damage, chain attacks, and ultimate attacks.
Version 2.0 also adds multiple Gears for Agents, viewable movies, new events, and a new 3D map for greater exploration of New Eridu and the Hollows. Yeah, I might have to jump back into my favorite gacha game.
It wouldn’t be a gacha game without sweet rewards. Version 2.0 adds the best rewards we’ve seen yet, with players’ choice of one S-Rank Agent and one S-Rank W-Engine. Both freebies must come from the Stable banner.
The Stable banner includes the following S-Rank Agents:
- Nekomata
- Koleda
- Solder 11
- Lycaon
- Grace
- Rina
Players can also earn 1,600 Polychromes (worth 10 pulls), and other rewards throughout the season.
Zenless Zone Zero is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices. Version 2.0 also debuts the official release on Xbox Series X/S and Cloud Gaming. It’s rated T for Teen.
