Annual gaming showcase extravaganza Summer Game Fest kicks off this Friday, June 6, at 2pm Pacific/5pm Eastern. The Geoff Keighley-hosted, E3-replacement will feature the return of the Latin American Games Showcase and Women-Led Games Showcase, as well as the debut of a new regional showcase: the Southeast Asian Games Showcase.
All three showcases will air via The Game Awards YouTube channel (which is also run by Geoff Keighley), as well as their own channels.
The Southeast Asian Games Showcase (SEAGS) will highlight developers and games from Southeast Asia, including action-RPG Cat Quest 3 and visual novel Coffee Talk Tokyo. It will air at 12pm Pacific/3pm Eastern on Saturday, June 7.
“This is the first year we’ve been able to broadcast the Southeast Asian Games Showcase at a global level,” says Nissie Arcega, co-founder, Southeast Asian Games Showcase. “It’s an honor to be representing such a talented region and to really demonstrate what Southeast Asia can add to the wider games ecosystem.”
The Women-Led Games Showcase returns in 2025 with 39 games, including interactive coloring book Woodo and space-based survival horror Void Martyrs. It’s scheduled first in the block at 10am Pacific/1pm Eastern.
It’s followed by the Latin American Games Showcase (11am Pacific/2pm Eastern), with 59 games from over a dozen different countries.
All three showcases are teaming up for a Summer Showcase Friends bundle on Steam. The bundle will feature nine of the best games from developers in the showcases, and goes on sale starting June 6.
