Free-to-play, open-world adventure game Infinity Nikki gets its first major update today, Dec. 30, with the Shooting Star Season. The season adds new storylines, challenges, and timed events, as well as plenty of new outfits to collect.
The Shooting Star Season features a cozy night-time theme. A meteor shower can be seen in the night skies of Miraland, and everyone is gathering to make their wishes. The 1.1 trailer showcases the new 5-star outfit, Wings of Wishes, and 4-star outfit, Starfall Radiance.
The Wings of Wishes outfit features a spiffy spectral crane floating ability. Starfall Radiance can causae shooting stars to streak above you while striking a certain pose.
By completing special events, players can earn unique accessories, titles, card backgrounds, and in-game currency. Limited-time events will unlock after completing the main quest, “Go to the Dream Warehouse.”
The exclusive quest, “Save the Wishing Nebula,” features multiple difficulty levels that unlock over time. During the first week, players can challenge the normal difficulty, followed by the harder mode next week, with more rewards.
Players can also catch special Pink Ribbon Eels in the waters near Leisureely Angler and Swan Gazebo for special rewards.
The event also features daily login rewards. Play for seven days during the event to receive bonus rewards, including 10 Revelation Crystals.
The seasonal event ends January 23, 2025.
The 1.1 update also adds optimizations and improvements to the base game, such as styling challenges, photography, and user interface.
