After nearly two years in Early Access on PC and Xbox, Monomi Park is finally bringing Slime Rancher 2 to PlayStation. Slime Rancher 2 will release on PlayStation 5 on June 11.

Slime Rancher 2 is the sequel to the 2017 original Slime Rancher, one of our favorite ranching games. As Beatrix LeBeau, players explore another alien planet filled with adorable slimes of different sizes, temperaments, and dietary needs.

By using the trusty Vacpack, Beatrix can capture slimes and place them in her ranch. By feeding them the right food, the slimes will produce plorts, which are sold for profit.

As players complete tasks and expand their ranch, they’ll unlock new areas of the world, with more slimes to discover.

The sequel adds a dynamic weather system, and more advanced gadgets. Not to mention lots of new slimes!

Pre-ordering the PS5 edition grants a three-day head start, on June 7. All PlayStation players will receive an exclusive in-game item, the Glo Glo Penguino.

As an early access, title, the sequel remains in active development. At least two more major updates are scheduled later this year. A 1.0 release date has not yet been announced.

Slime Rancher 2 is also available on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The Slime Rancher series is rated E10+.
