From Mimimi, the developers of stealth-tactics games Shadow Tactics and Desperados 3, comes Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. It’s available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Check out the lengthy (six minutes!) new launch trailer above.

Shadow Gambit is another real-time stealth-tactics game, set in an alternate version of the Age of Sail called the Lost Caribbean. You control the undead crew of the Red Marley, a ghost ship with a living soul.

By seeking out Black Pearls, you can awaken different members of your crew and take them on sandbox-style missions as you search for the legendary treasure of Captain Mordecai. Being able to choose which members to take on which missions is a big difference between Mimimi’s last two stealth games.

Not to mention the increase to eight members of the team, and non-linear mission layout.

Each crew member has a unique set of supernatural skills to help distract, avoid, or swiftly execute the pesky imperial forces of the Inquisition.

In addition the standard edition, PC gamers can also purchase the Supporter Edition, which includes the digital soundtrack, artbook, and strategy guide (PDFs).

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is rated T for Teen. A free demo (or 2-hour trial version on console) is also available.
