Electronic Arts and Maxis have announced The Sims 4 Cottage Living expansion pack is now available for PC (Origin, Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S ($39.99). Watch the live-action trailer above, featuring indie rock band Japanese Breakfast.

In Cottage Living, Sims can explore the small, rural countryside of Henford-on-Bagley. Learn about the town’s rich history, have a picnic with neighbors, and hang out at The Gnome’s Arms pub.

Animal husbandry is a major addition in the expansion. Sims can now raise their own animals, from cows and chickens to llamas. You can also “earn the trust of wild foxes, rabbits, and flocks of birds,” which sounds like you’re becoming a full-blown Disney princess.

“With The Sims 4 Cottage Living, we’re empowering players to get creative with how they connect with their surroundings and embrace village life to its fullest,” said Antonio Romeo, lead producer, Maxis. “Cottage Living offers a relaxing and quaint cottage experience surrounded by lush beauty and adorable animals. It is one of the most wholesome experiences I have ever had playing The Sims 4. I can’t wait to see how players’ Sims’ live out their cottage life.”

If you The Sims 4 Cottage Living by September 2nd, you will receive the Gnome on the Go Digital Content pack for free. The Sims is rated T for Teen.
