Frontier Developments has announced the classic theme park sim RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) on September 24.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition includes widescreen support, 1080 resolution, and both the Wild and Soaked expansion packs. Manage a 3D theme park through dozens of scenarios, with over 300 coasters and rides, 500 scenery pieces, 60 shops, and 20 animals with the Wild expansion.

A sandbox mode is also available, which integrates all the waterpark rides and animal exhibits from the two expansions.

The Switch version features redesigned controls to make managing your park with the Joy-Con much easier. The PC version will feature widescreen and 1080p resolution for the first time.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 originally released in 2004 on PC. The threequel updated the beloved isometric park-managing series with an all new 3D engine, including the ability to ride your own rides in first-person. It was very well-received by fans and critics. A decent mobile port released in 2015.

Frontier’s own Planet Coaster released in 2016 as a spiritual successor to the theme park series. Planet Coaster released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last year, but isn’t available on Switch.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition will launch on PC and Switch on September 24. It’s rated E for Everyone.
