Square Enix and Disney announced a new Kingdom Hearts spin-off music game. Melody of Memory is a rhythm-action game coming to PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One this fall, marking the first time a Kingdom Hearts game will appear on Switch.

Melody of Memory includes over 140 music tracks and 20 familiar characters from the series. Sora and friends will journey through Disney worlds and time their attacks along with the memorable and beloved orchestral soundtrack. The Kingdom Hearts 3 soundtrack will also release separately in Fall 2020.

The Rhythm game can be played solo or cooperatively with online multiplayer.

Melody of Memory was announced during Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts 2020 update video, which also revealed a new mobile spin-off, Kingdom Hearts Union X Dark Road, launching today. Dark Road features a teenage Xehanort in an all-new story featuring card-based gameplay alongside the familiar mash-up of Square Enix and Disney characters. The mobile game is free to download with in-app purchases for Amazon, Android, and iOS.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will release this fall on PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. It’s rated E10+.
