Square Enix announced a new monthly video series showcasing upcoming co-op action game Outriders. The first Outriders Broadcast is scheduled for Thursday, May 28 at 9 am PST/12 pm EST at the official Square Enix Twitch channel. Watch the brief trailer to the broadcast above.

Each episode of the Outriders Broadcast will focus on different themes and aspects of the game. The first episode, “Built for the Core,” will reveal new areas, gameplay, class powers, and development updates.

Outriders was originally announced during last year’s E3 showcase. It’s being developed by People Can Fly, the studio behind Gears of War: Judgement and Bulletstorm. The online co-op game looks like a cross between Destiny and Gears of War.

“Obviously, things are a little bit strange in the world right now, and we’re all adapting the best we can. We’ve prioritized our people’s safety and all 250+ of us on the team are working from home and staying healthy. We’re still working hard on the development of Outriders and keeping on track for a Holiday 2020 release,” said Bartek Kmita, Creative Director, People Can Fly. “With the cancellation of some of gaming’s biggest events of the year, we’ve looked for new ways to share news about Outriders with players. We’re really excited to present new details of what we’re working on every month from this point forward with the Outriders Broadcasts.”

Outriders is coming this holiday season to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC (Steam), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
