Big Fish Games announced and released EverMerge, a free-to-play mobile puzzle game. EverMerge brings classic fairy tale and folk lore characters into the modern world with the increasingly popular “merge” genre of puzzle games. It’s available now on iOS and Android mobile devices.

“Merge is a relatively new category for mobile gaming, and we’re excited to expand upon it with EverMerge,” said Jeff Karp, president, Big Fish Games,. “We’ve learned a lot over the years from our puzzle players, and this game brings together favorite features like match and merge, with casual simulation elements such as gathering resources and world-building. EverMerge offers players robust gameplay and high-quality features with unique storybook characters who really steal the show.”

In the Shrek-like land of EverMerge, fairy tale characters live in one big shared world, with a modern twist. Cinderella designs shoes, Paul Bunyun is a micro-farmer, and Rapunzel is a social media influencer. Other characters include Peter Pan, Red Riding Hood, Sinbad, Merlin, and Puss N’ Boots.

In EverMerge players will discover these characters and other objects (such as candy trees and enchanted towers) as they reveal the map. Hundreds of items and characters are available to discover. Matches can be merged together to create bigger items and upgrades, up to a merge of five to create the best possible version.

Free resources can be earned through gameplay. In-app purchases are also available.

EverMerge is available now on iOS and Android mobile devices. It’s rated E10+. Big Fish Games is participating in the #PlayApartTogether initiative to raise awareness and promote social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
