During the PlayStation State of Play presentation this week, Square Enix showcased a new trailer for upcoming story DLC for Kingdom Hearts 3. The Re Mind DLC will release on PlayStation 4 on Jan. 23, 2020, and on Xbox One on Feb. 25, 2020, for $29.99.

Re Mind is designed for players who have already completed the main adventure in Kingdom Hearts 3, as Sora returns to his friends and discovers new truths. Here’s the official description, which may be a bit spoilery if you haven’t completed Kingdom Hearts 3:

Determined to rescue Kairi, Sora travels to the Keyblade Graveyard a short time before the final battle was to take place. Lacking a corporeal form, he traces the hearts of the seven guardians of light. Through experiencing their personal battles firsthand, Sora is about to discover truths that he has never before imagined.

The Final Fantasy half of Kingdom Hearts will play a prominent role, including fan-favorite Aerith from Final Fantasy 7. Re Mind features over a dozen boss battles, new difficulty settings, and gameplay challenges.

The DLC will launch alongside the 1.07 patch in January (for both consoles). The free update will add new abilities and new Keyblades for Sor: Oathkeeper and Oblivion, as well as a new form. It will also include updates to the main story.

Pre-orders are available now. You can also purchase the Re Mind + Concert Video Package for $39.99, which includes the DLC plus footage from the Kingdom Hearts World of Tres Orchestra, recorded in Osaka, Japan on November 30. The concert video contains 19 tracks.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is rated E10+. It’s available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
