The annual Summer Bash event has kicked off this week in multiplayer dinosaur survival game ARK: Survival Evolved. The event lasts for two weeks and involves revealing swim suits, patriotic hats, and fireworks.
During the Summer Bash event, dinosaurs will breed at twice the speed and survivors will gain double the experience as well as double harvest yields from resources. The temporary boosts also apply to the recently released expansion, Valguero. Seasonal candy can be fed to tamed beasts to change them into random colors.
New cosmetic items include Fireworks Flare Gun, RPG Firework Rocket, Summer swimsuits, and Uncle Sam top hats for both players and dinosaurs. The above trailer also shows off the new flex emote.
The ARK Summer Bash event will end July 16. ARK: Survival Evolved is currently 65% off on the Steam Summer Sale on PC ($17.49). ARK is also available on PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One and mobile devices. It’s rated T for Teen.
