After a year of Early Access, My time at Portia is finally getting a release date – and it’s next week! Team17 has released a new trailer that reveals a release date of January 15 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. It’s coming later this Spring to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch.

When it launches the price will rise to $29.99. The Early Access price is currently $19.99, which is about a 35% pre-order discount.

My Time at Portia is a crafting sim-RPG. It’s structured similarly to Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing as you help rebuild the town of Portia. Raise crops and animals, mine for materials, fight monsters in the dungeons, and build relationships with your fellow townsfolk.

Unlike most town sim games My Time at Portia features a third person perspective in a 3D animated world inspired by Studio Ghibli.

The crafting sim is developed by Chinese indie developer Pathea Games. Team17 has partnered with Sold Out to provide a retail edition when it launches on consoles later this year.

If you’d like to try before you buy, there’s a free demo available on Steam.

My Time at Portia is launching January 15 on PC. It’s coming later this spring to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch. It’s rated E10+ for Alcohol Reference, Crude Humor, Fantasy Violence, and Mild Suggestive Themes.
