One of our most anticipated games for younger kids this year, Yoshi’s Crafted World, just got a confirmed release date from Nintendo. Yoshi’s Crafted World will release on March 29 on Nintendo Switch.

Yoshi’s Crafted World is a spiritual sequel to 2015’s Yoshi’s Woolly World on the Wii U. This time the world is made up of paper crafts built out of household items such as paper cups and boxes. Yoshi journeys through each level solving puzzles and uncovering hidden Poochy Pups, flowers, and coins.

In a nod to the Paper Mario series, each level can be rotated along its 2D axis, creating a new, reverse 2D level.

Like Yoshi’s Woolly World, the sequel will support up to two player simultaneous co-op. Players can unlock new colors and outfits for Yoshi along the way. The game also features a Mellow mode for younger gamers, granting Yoshi wings and making it much easier to traverse each level.

Also arriving in March is an enhanced remake of Kirby’s Epic Yarn, called Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn. It’s arriving on Nintendo 3DS on March 8. The new version includes all of the original Wii stages as well as new mini-games, new Ravel Abilities, and a challenging new Devilish Mode.

Both Yoshi’s Crafted World and Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn are rated E for Everyone.
