Trailmark Games and Coolabi Group announced that Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest will release on October 23 for PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation, Switch, Switch 2, and Xbox.
Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest is an action-adventure game set in the wilderness of the Warrior Cats YA book series. Players create and customize their own Warrior Cat, choose their clan, and rise through the ranks of a procedurally generated world.
Explore familiar clan territories and interact with cats from the book series. Forage for resources, climb trees, solve puzzles, and track prey. Battle wild animals, as well as rival Clan cats, through turn-based combat, with up to 3v3 battles and dozens of combat moves.
The main gameplay mode is Prophecy Mode, which features four original stories written by series author Erin Hunter as you work through Clan life and uncover the secrets of the StarClan.
Players can also test their battle skills with Defender Mode, or even play online through asynchronous multiplayer in Skirmish Mode.
In addition to a standard edition, the special Feral Edition includes the following extra content:
- 8 Elements to use in the Cat Creator
- 12 wearable accessories
- Cel-shaded characters skin
- 4 cat poses for photo mode
- 4 photo mode effects
As a pre-order bonus for either edition, players will receive the Purrfect Look pack, which includes exclusive content for the Cat Creator.
Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest will release on October 23 on PC and consoles. It’s rated E10+ by the ESRB.
