Frontier Developments announced the first major expansion for Jurassic World Evolution 3: Rebirth. Inspired by last year’s major motion picture, Jurassic World: Rebirth, the Rebirth Expansion will release on June 16 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, alongside the free 1.3 update.
Rebirth Expansion adds four new dinosaur species from the film:
- Distortus Rex
- Mutadon
- Titanosaurus
- Aquilops
Park managers can also embark on a new campaign, set just before the events of Jurassic World: Rebirth. Players will get to develop the top-secret island facility on Ile Saint-Hubert, which includes the Main Facility, the Riverside Lab, and the Ancient Valley. The story advances by completing priority Assignments, but players can unlock new genomes, traits, and opportunities through optional Assignments as well.
Players can also take advantage of new geothermal energy using a network of underground pipes to power their structures.
The expansion also adds 387 scenery pieces, 37 blueprints, and open air aviaries.
June 16 will also add the 1.3 update for Jurassic World Evolution 3. The update adds new swimming behavior for Tyrannosaurus Rex, improvements to flying dinosaurs and aviaries, and new drone additions.
Oh, and you can recreate a famous scene from the OG Jurassic Park with the new handheld flares for rangers that can lure or repel dinosaurs.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 is available on Steam PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, and rated E10+.
