Summer Game Fest 2026 is just around the corner on June 5, which means lots of big game announcements, trailers, and publisher showcases. Indie publishing label Fellow Traveler is taking advantage of the mid-year excitement with their own Story-Rich Showcase.

The hour-long presentation will feature dozens of narrative-driven games when it premieres on June 6 on the Fellow Traveller YouTube and Twitch channels.

The Story-Rich Showcase will feature 26 different games, including new announcements, big updates, and release date reveals. Within the umbrella of ‘story-rich,’ we have horror games, mystery thrillers, romance, and more. As long as they feature deep, emotional stories at their core.

Aside from Fellow Traveler, other participating studios include Happy Broccoli Games, Rusty Lake, and SFB Games. The Showcase also brings together the documentary team from No Clip, the editorial This Week in Videogames, and the women-owned publication Mothership.

Cozy content creator MadMorph will host the showcase, introducing games and interviewing developers.

Fellow Traveler is also known for hosting LudoNarraCon, a digital gaming fest that celebrates narrative games each year on Steam. The publisher hopes to follow in the steps of Wholesome Direct, and raise awareness for a specific genre of indie gaming.

Summer Game Fest is the annual gaming event that features a series of showcases and streaming events each Summer. The action kicks off on June 5 with the actual Summer Game Fest showcase, featuring host Geoff Keighley with new world premieres, interviews, and updates. Several showcase events follow over the next several days from major publishers (such as Microsoft) as well as indie teams and collaborations (such as the Story-Rich Showcase).
