Popular ad-free children’s app Lingokids has partnered with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for its newest interactive experience: “I Can Be a Wildlife Scientist.”
Designed for ages 5-8, the new wildlife experience connects kids with nature and animals as they explore the planet, and the role wildlife scientists play.
Kids will discover how scientists observe and learn about animals, increase environmental awareness, and inspire off-screen activities.
“Kids are naturally drawn to animals, and for kids with a budding interest in nature and the environment, what could be more fun than experiencing a day in the life of a wildlife biologist?” says Lingokids CEO Cristóbal Viedma. “The interactive format of this collaboration is designed to include kids in the global conversation about conservation in a way that they can understand.”
As the parent of at least one animal-obsessed kindergartner (shout-out to Wild Kratts), I can confirm that some kids are super into animals.
“WWF’s mission is to build a future in which people live in harmony with nature, and kids are, of course, a huge part of that future,” says Sheila Bonini, Senior Vice President, WWF. “Our collaboration with Lingokids offers a new way for the youngest in our community to learn about protecting animals and their habitats.”
“I Can Be a Wildlife Scientist” is part of Lingokids’ Career Lessons series, inspiring kids using real-world professions. Lingokids previously collaborated with NASA earlier this year for “I Can Be an Astronaut.”
Lingokids is the #1 ranked kids’ entertainment app, available on Amazon, Android, and iOS mobile devices.
