During the latest Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, Capcom announced a free demo for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. The demo is available now on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and the Nintendo eShop.
The Monster Hunter Stories 3 demo, or Trial Version, includes the opening chapters of the threequel, including the character creator. Players can fine-tune the appearance of their protagonist, and jump into the new battle system.
The Trial Version is capped at level 10, along with the amount of Trade Points and Monsties you can accumulate. Progress made on the same platform will carry over to the full game.
Monster Hunter Stories is a creature collecting, turn-based spinoff of the Monster Hunter action-RPG series. Players play as monster trainers rather than hunters. Like Pokémon, players train and use their befriended monster, or “monsties,” in battle against other monsters and trainers. Monsties can unlock and empower skills and abilities using the Rite of Channeling with other monsties.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will release on March 13. By pre-ordering, players can unlock the Skyscale Queen layered armor for Eleanor. In addition to the standard edition, Monster Hunter Stories 3 is also available in a Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition includes an additional side story and outfit set, and the Premium Deluxe Edition also includes a DLC pack of more outfits and cosmetics.
