Summer has hit the Forbidden Lands, as Capcom unleashes the next seasonal event, Festival of Accord: Flamefete for Monster Hunter Wilds. The seasonal event kicks off July 23 at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific and runs through August 5.

The event primarily takes place at the Grand Hub, where players can enjoy all the Summer, Tropical, and flame-themed decorations, as well as a new song by the Diva. Players can also enjoy water gun battles with the new Water Gun gesture, which sounds like a pretty funny way of implementing mock PvP battles in town.

By logging into the game during the event, Hunters can earn tickets to forge special equipment, the Afi A armor for Hunters and Felynes. Wearing the special armor will net bonus rewards.

Players can also unlock a new nameplate, background, pose, tent customization, and a really cool looking Firebird skin for the Seikret.

NPCs can be dressed up in summer outfits, including Alma, Erik, and Gemma. The outfits are only temporary, unless you purchase the paid Flamefete DLC. The DLC also includes a special pendant, gesture, sticker set, and Seikret decoration.

Monster Hunter Wilds recently received a major content update in Title Update 2, adding monsters Lagiacrus and Seregios for higher rank (HR 31) Hunters, as well as more equipment and skills.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, and rated T for Teen.
