Over the holiday break, Level 5 released a free DLC update for action-RPG-life-sim, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. The new DLC adds an entirely new way to play inspired by roguelikes.
The free DLC, which is also technically an update, is titled “The Sinister Broker Bazario’s Schemes.” By entering the new region of Snoozaland, players will start over at level 1 and begin a fresh game that combines open world exploration with roguelike tension.
A tough challenge brings better rewards, and players can add any rewards they find back into their main game. New stuff includes equipment, mounts, and more.
To further promote the new DLC, Level 5 released a unique trailer featuring Destin from anime sports-RPG Inazuma Eleven (also developed by Level 5), and Edward from Fantasy Life i.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is a long-awaited sequel to 2014’s Fantasy Life on the Nintendo 3DS. The gameplay blends Zelda-style RPG exploration with a life sim. Players can swap between professions to cook, hunt, farm, and chop trees, while exploring the world battling fantasy monsters. Up to four players can play together in online co-op, as well as two-player local co-op.
Fantasy Life i is available on Steam PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. It’s rated E10+.
