It’s that time of year where we’re all physically and mentally exhausted from the holidays. We’re ready to relax with nonstop gaming goodness for a good cause!
Games Done Quick’s annual charity drive, Awesome Games Done Quick 2026 takes place January 4-10 at the Wyndham Grand in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The week-long charity stream will feature dozens of speedruns from gamers and content creators from around the world to raise money for charity.
The entire marathon will stream live via the official Games Done Quick Twitch channel.
The marathon kicks off on Sunday, Jan 4 at 8:30am Pacific/11:30am Eastern. The first live speedrun is Super Mario Sunshine, by inkstar.
Some fun-looking runs include a new Split Fiction speedrun on Sunday evening starring blackheartwings and ProfessorBurtch, and a Subspace Emissary run in Super Smash Bros. Brawl by Techstrobe on Monday afternoon.
New games include Pokémon Legends: Z-A speed to Rank F, finding all ? panels in Mario Kart World, and running Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on Thursday night.
The “Awful Run” block also returns. The fan-favorite segment features terrible older games that runners must play through, such as Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum. True dedication to the craft, right there!
Pokémon speedruns are some of the most fun, and this year’s AGDQ will climax with a run of Pokémon Emerald, with fans and donors choosing the starter. Check out the full week-long schedule here.
Awesome Games Done Quick 2026 will raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping prevent and detect cancer. All proceeds raised during the event go directly to the charity. Last year, AGDQ raised over $2.5 million.
