PM Studios and Playtonic Games have released platformer remaster Yooka-Re-Playlee on PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S ($29.99).
The cutely named remaster of Yooka-Laylee is an open world 3D platformer starring Yooka, a chameleon, and Laylee, his bat companion. Originally released in 2017, Yooka-Laylee is a spiritual successor to the beloved Banjoo-Kazooie series, with a pair of anthropomorphic heroes who explore the world using their unique abilities. With lots and lots of collectibles to find.
The modern remaster has been redesigned with updated graphics, a new map (with collectible tracker), and improved camera controls. The pair now gain all their moves at the start of the game, and the story has been updated with a new storybook-style, with added sequences.
Plus, new flavor Tonics to equip, more fashions to try, a new currency to collect and spend, and a new platforming mini-game that replaces the old ones.

The digital version is available now. A physical edition is launching on December 18, and includes a bonus map and sticker sheet ($49.99).
