The Cozy & Family Friendly Games Celebration sale features dozens of discounts on charming indie games on Steam.
This is a great chance to pick up some of our favorite indie games of the last few years, including one of my personal favorite games of last year: Rusty’s Retirement ($4.68, 33% off). It’s a ridiculously fun semi-idle farm sim that plays in the bottom third of your screen.
Puzzle fans should check out tile-laying village builder Dorfromantik ($9.79, 30% off), and home decorating customizer, Unpacking ($9.99, 50% off).
For fans of narrative and mystery games, the Duck Detective sequel was recently released, but the first game, The Secret Salami, is discounted at 30% off ($6.99).
Two of our favorite bigger budget sim management games, Jurassic World Evolution 2 and Planet Zoo, are heavily discounted during the Steam sale: 70% off! Their respective DLC packs are also discounted at around 50% off, because you know you’re going to want more critters to care for.
Other highlights of the sale include cute street shop manager Minami Lane ($3.99, 20% off), 3D co-op life sim My Time at Sandrock ($19.99, 50% off), and first-person excavator, A Game About Digging A Hole ($3.99, 20% off).
Themed Steam Sales are also a great chance to put new and upcoming games for your ever-growing wishlist. Check out Tiny Book Shop (traveling shop sim), Moonlight Peaks (Stardew Valley + vampires), and My Time at Evershine (threequel from the Portia and Sandrock creators).
The Cozy & Family Friendly Games Celebration 2025 Steam sale is hosted by indie publisher Rokaplay. As you expect, they specialize in cute and cozy games such as A Game About Digging A Hole, Sugardew Island, and the upcoming Solarpunk.
The Steam sale ends June 9.
