Harmonix and Look North Wood have launched Patchwork Parkour, a rhythm platforming game within Fortnite. To enter Patchwork Parkour, enter the following island code in Fortnite: 1425-4464-4801.

Patchwork Parkour features an original EDM soundtrack, using Harmonix’s Patchwork tool. Players race through an obstacle course of platforms, terrain, lasers, and more, while collecting music notes. The action is synced to the music, which dynamically adjusts throughout the game.

The Patchwork tool allows players to create their own rhythm-based platforming challenges, including custom soundtracks. Use a combination of note sequencer, note triggers, Song Sync, and the Music Manager to manage tempo and create challenging obstacles.

An official Fortnite Creative blog post by Michael Dekoekkoek, lead engineer at Look North Wood, showcases how to use Patchwork.

“Through its harmonious blend of rhythm, gameplay, and creative expression, Patchwork Parkour is designed not only to captivate players but to reimagine the ways music can be enjoyed together. We also hope to inspire creators to dive into the Patchwork toolset, explore its potential, and create their own music-driven experiences in Fortnite,” said Alex Seropian, CEO, Look North World.

Fortnite is free to download on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and mobile devices. It’s rate T for Teen.
